Dr. Jonathan Dowd

Dr. Jonathan Dowd has worked extensively in both criminal and civil court systems with particular emphasis upon child care and custody risk assessment issues. Having also a vast amount of experience working in a criminal justice and policing environment, Dr. Dowd is able to advise on the psychological aspects of offending, police interviewing, suggestibility issues, duress, and PACE related matters.

Dr. Dowd has been trained in the administration and scoring of the Hare Psychopathy checklist. His research background has centred upon the causes of "unpredictable" behaviour.

Dr. Dowd is a Registered Forensic Psychologist with The Health Professions Council.
